Nope-no cheering at ALL. What Delta needs is for SWA to "get rid of" AT. Many industry experts have been saying since the merger announcement that having SWA come in to ATL will be beneficial for all as they will no longer have to deal with "stupid fare wars." SWA will actually price fares up where they need to be. AT has been desperate with cheap, stupid fares, leading to bleeding for all involved.
From a pilot leverage perspective, having AT FOs now get paid what DL CAs make will only
help during negotiations. Get it done and quick. No kidding.
