Still wouldn't come close to cleaning out that many pilots, unless AA also agrees to bring on more pilots then it needs over the next couple of years. If a mass exodus of retirements were to develop, then possibly.
DG isn't calling the shots on this issue, but I'm sure that's definately on his wish list.
