You will definitely get a lot more respect as a pilot there than you are probably used to. Just make sure to get paid in Euro or US dollars. Don't trust banks there. I enjoy trips to Turkey...people are super friendly, women are knockouts, and the food/wine is great.
Just had 3-4 days in Bodrum and it was fun, but WAY too hot.
You do see some Turkish corp jets there (LTBA/LTFJ) but not very many..
