I went on this site and got a free membership. I hope that employers aren't actually using this company to make decisions on hiring.
I ran my name, it had a few of my tickets on it but not all going back to 2004. It also has a judgment listed agianst me from 1992 that I have never even heard of the company. I just pulled my credit report and it isn't listed there. No idea what it is other that wrong. So this is bad info all together.
I ran my current wife's name both maiden and married and it couldn't find her in our current state where she has lived and worked for 5 years but lists her under her maiden name back in her home town.
Then I ran my ex-wife's name. I know that she has filed BK, almost lost her house, got a DUI and at least 2 tickets in the past 2 years (none while married to me) and it shows her record is clean with 0 hits. I checked her married and maiden name. It also shows my current wife as one of her relatives. It is sad that sites like this can be so inaccurate but yet people may use them to affect life decisions.
It is like carfax I guess. You don't have to be 100% correct you just have to have a good commercial. I had a ford truck that I bought brand new with 1 mile on it from ford and carfax showed it as having 2 owners when I ran the VIN.
