Last time I checked everyone is having the same issues with being short staffed and having problems with finding new hires. Magically tho they will be able to take over Eagles feeds. Right.. I see no change with Eagles flying being farmed out anytime soon.
Never said Eagle would be "gone". Simply stated that there is significant risk that Eagle will face reductions in a shorter time then believed. I've been told the ATR's could be gone quite quickly and most carriers will be making their fall schedule reductions soon. In fact, Delta says they're parking their turboprops and more 50-seaters, so AMR parking the ATR's and perhaps some or all the 37-seaters this fall is quite possible.
As you say, carriers are short-staffed and so is Eagle, so that might not mean any furloughs.
