I was a flow through Corporate guy, but you're right, that program is now over. If you get hired at Corp now, you have to do 3 yrs before you're guaranteed an interview (IF hiring is going on). AFAIK, the mins are still the same as the line, but the FEX is not required. And Corporate no longer hires less than full time pilots. They used to in very limited circumstances, but no more.
I might be wrong about this, but I thought one waited 3 years for metering to the line from the corporate department or from the Pro Instructor position (flow through), compared to
2 years for internal Express employees who meet the minimums and apply to interview.
I didn't mean that you could get on as a part time corporate pilot, I meant a part time FedEx Express employee (sorting boxes, dispatching, crew scheduling, etc...). Do you know if that's the case? Can
part time employees from the Express side of the house get an interview after 2 years? Or do they have to be full-time employees?
