This is not about Dean Martin or Charlton Heston in the first two Airport movies coming back and soothing the nervous passengers. These days it's Greyhound bus and the masses. Exactly. Besides, you never know if this kind of an altercation is a "theater" event. There very well could be other bad guys on the plane checking out how the crew reacts to the incident for use in the future.
Stay in the cockpit and let the LEOs handle the miscreants. They're trained to take care of criminals like these guys. You're not.
