True, but AMR has stated that they intend to retain the rights to the name "American Eagle". So Eagle spins off to become whatever (maybe Simmons again, my vote is for Command to come back ,lol) and I presume "Connection" will be retired and sub-contractors will become "American Eagle". Thus allowing Skywest or whomever else to more seamlessly integrate and supply 60 seat feed.
Unless APA gives on scope, or Eagles current 70 seaters get sold to someone else, Skywest (or anyone else) can't fly anything larger than 50 seats. The 70s are capped at what AE has.
