Dude, put down the crack pipe and learn a few things from history and the pilots who went before us and made this profession what it WAS when most of us put it in our sights.
"we loose are jobs"....are you saying we
lose our jobs? I completely disagree.
Have you looked at the profitability of "are" (our) airline? 5B in ancillary revenues alone and 9B in the bank. They FIRE guys in management and give them millions to get lost! (John Tague 11.8 million). This company is a cash cow and WE are the ones who are directly responsible for moving tens of thousands of people daily all around the globe. We have licenses that cost tens of thousands of dollars to obtain AFTER and IN ADDITION to college degrees and / or significant military service. It takes most guys years of service in either the MIL or the CIV aviation world to obtain the minimum requirements to even fill out the damn application.
We fly multi-million dollar equipment in an extremely challenging and ever changing highly regulated environment. We do shift work, don't have retirement, and lose our ability to work with just a simple afib or other relatively minor health ailment. We work weekends, holidays and fly on the back side of the clock.
Whiskey Tango Fox!!???? (Can't believe that this site won't allow me to type ***) My buddies daughter just graduated from GA Tech with a BS and her starting salary is 86K!!! Why do you sell yourself so short? Your perspective or your worth is so assbackward that it astounds me.
You're a piece of work dude. I hope that you are in the EXTREME minority at CAL.
Never mind.....this is pointless....
