The faa furloughees have not caused the earth to explode and crash into the sun. What value do they add when they are at work besides being a conduit through which money is funnelled to various entities? Do they actually physically pull out wrenches and fix anything? Or do they say "fix that."

And I think the FAA is actually one of the more valueable pieces of the government gravy train.
