Seriously. I don't even want to take this job opportunity....even though I need it. Those conditions are horrible!
Wait.....can I take it (the job offer) and then when it gets rediculously bad, tell the company to ki$$ it, and wait for UAL to recall? Because, there is no jeopardy in that! Other than being re-unemployed for a bit longer.

Maybe that will help send a message to management that we are not going to work like slaves anymore. That is such unbelievable treatment of professional pilots that have a world of responsibility on their shoulders day in and day out. We can't be treated that way. Fatigued, abused, it's just plain dangerous. How did we even get such work rules?????
