Naturally I gathered it was being MEL'd. Current airplane I am on will not allow the APU to be MEL's for extended range ops. Wondering if this is allowed on the 757. Thanks
The ETOPS 757s have a hydraulic motor generator which apparently CO uses that to allow the APU to be deferred for an ETOPS flight.
It varies between some carriers whether or not the APU can be deferred prior to an ocean crossing.
