The narrowbody Airbus fleets between East and West would be a good comparision group if you'd just throw out the other fleet types. Otherwise, I'd guess that the, mostly older B737-400's that you don't have out West sure don't help the mx writeup numbers. Also, the B767 and A330, can do nothing useful in this comparison.

I don't consider statistical norms in my decision making and I doubt that many of us do. I fly to comply with SOP and the FAR's. If that causes some grief somehow,
