AMR did this to please the stockholders. And you really think ExpressJet will come in?? They fly the same equipment.... And if you really think 30% of us will be on the street, you are smoking something pretty strong.... Are there furloughs possible? Maybe. But not for some time.... Nothing will change right away. The changes will have to do with the terms of the ASA when it comes out. Not to mention there is a good period of time before the divestiture will be approved and then finalized.
