Won't the fact that they are keeping some of Eagle's debt make Eagle more appealing to other majors as a regional carrier? What I'm saying is, wouldn't that allow them to underbid other regionals? Or is the general thought that the aircraft they currently maintain isn't fuel efficiet enough/profitable enough to be attractive to other majors?
