I would not let the naysayers scare anyone from Eagle. Almost everyone I speak to, senior captains, plan to flow to AA. The fear grenade has really worked. And on the other hand, I recently had a FAA jump seater tell me that commercial pilot certificates awards are down by 85% for the past five years. Every regional pilot I speak with tell me that their airlines are understaff. I have heard stories of how management blames weather, sick calls, etc... The point being, AMR will have a tough time farming out the flying due to a lack of qualified personal to man the cockpit.
