To anyone else reading this string. I was never a Union Rep. I was the Spirit MEC Chairman, but it appears that Waldo misunderstands the Chairmans position as he apparently misunderstands many other things in the ALPA world.
Waldo is nothing more than a proxy for a increasingly desperate group of "big labor" elitists - desperate to stay in control. They lash out at me because I dare to inform the general pilot population of the truth, that the power in ALPA belongs to the pilots - not to the politicians.
Waldo attempts to smear me as anti union, and question my teachings, because I am the true pilot unionist in this battle. In my view, the power rests with the rank and file. Waldo quite obviously fears an informed membership because an informed membership is my only objective; and I seem to be getting on his nerves. Maybe he should arrange for his "friends at ALPA Carriers" to attend one of my get together's.
I invite all of you to attend the next get together. You'll see that my source material is limited to the ALPA Constitution and Bylaws, the ALPA Pilots Code of Ethics, and the SPA MEC Policy Manual.
PS. Waldo, my advice would be for you to drop old politics and move ahead. The people who really want your Captain Rep out don't particularly care for either of us at this point and you're continued attempts to sling mud only show them that you and yours really need to go. Seriously bro, that's good advice.
