As others have said, there is no sign off. But you probably aren't going to be used to the duchess, Seminole, Seneca, whatever, without going up at least a couple times and going through the maneuvers.

If you fail it on your first try then you do have to retrain with a CFI and get a sign off, and depending on how that goes they may not be so willing to sign you off quickly.
