The post office is in need of some restructuring however it is one of the few services specifically mentioned in the constitution. It is not going away. Letter carriers will press on. The FAA however is another story.
My position on aviation is from a perspective of effort versus reward and return on investment. When evaluated on a QOL and financial perspective it falls short. Others here feel comfortable selling off their home life and chances for friends and family on staying in the saddle and that is fine for them. Others here like me have a life outside of flying that they wish to preserve and enhance. They get my message loud and clear.
