One reason flyDubai pay seems higher is that they do not provide housing/accomodation to their pilots. Think I'm right about that. Emirates will provide you with housing or provide you with around 160,000dhs to find your own place. And the rent prices can range from 40,000 to whatever depending on what your needs and location might be.

I agree with what has been said about the Medical care. Like anywhere, you will get outstanding doctors in their fields and you will get the "mule skinner" now and again. But isn't that true everywhere? I have some med issues and have had zero complaints with treatments, including a stint in intensive care. Believe me, not bad at all given the circumstances.
