I have had schedulers in the last two years try and do that. They have paid me every time when they did not honor the contract. If they are in violation of the contract call ALPA. Normally you wont even have to go the grievance route. In a few weeks you will get a call and receive pay for a missed trip or assignment pay for a incorrectly assigned trip.
I do need to turn them in more often. I wish I could see their aforementioned TC reports. That kind of stuff needs to be printed right along with the daily coverage. Usually I get burned on the overnights, not always a pay thing but I need to hand it in.
The SC thing was classic. Not long ago I put in PM and got 630AM. I called, the guy was nice and said let me see what she did this morning........ ....... how does 1030 sound? I said fine.
Living under the system makes me believe it should be PBS like and automated and then reported for verification.
