I'll second that motion. I requested a trip over thanksgiving last year that would have let me spend thanksgiving evening with my family. It was a 4 day, and was awarded to a junior pilot, and I was awarded a different 4 day trip. Called scheduling to see what happened, and they admitted they screwed it up, but couldn't fix it (too late, they said.) I sent a report to my rep and the scheduling comitee, and I was paid the difference in the value of the two trips (On top of the credit for the trip I flew - even though the trip I flew was actually worth more.)
