Now on to the most important thing. The front desk said it was a fellow atlas pilot, if that is the truth, then lets own up, and I will chip in and buy another if not we need to set the record straight with the hotel. So if you are at the long stay hotel in MIA and used the grill Friday night please PM so we can fix this. They are talking about not getting another one and that would just SUCK!!!!!

cheers,

Actually, it wasn't left on all night. What happened was when a group used it a couple of nights ago, they had moved it. When it was moved, some of the pipes that were connected to the burners became disconnected causing the flame to engulf the entire underneath. Not something we noticed until the thing got so hot underneath and in front, that the knobs melted. Immediately, we went inside and told maintenance. They shut the gas off and put a sign on it(after it cooled of course) saying "out of order". It was 4 of us from the newest 400 class at Atlas, but it was completely not something we did out of negligence and we definately didn't leave it on all night. On behalf of my other Atlas buds who were out there, I apologize that the grill died while we were using it, but it was not something we really had any control over. We were just as bummed as you.
