Exactly! This was my biggest hurtle too. Trying to get into flying that I had no experience in. I felt that a large part of whatever interview I eventually got (and it was true) was spent proving that I coould be successful in a totally different environment. Highlight the challenges of what ever training and environment that you do come from and your successes!
As for the original question of the thread - - I would have chosen TPIC also to a certain point (seems the 1000 TPIC is a magic number) and then moved on to the next hardest column to gain experience in. Once you have all of the blocks checked then it is timing and contacts.
