I am shocked, SHOCKED, that they haven't called you yet. Normally when they get an application on a Friday afternoon they will spare no expense to make sure it is reviewed. They will pull their HR people out of the church choir on Sunday morning if they have to in order to get it done. My guess is that the delay right now is because they are having trouble buying their interview team off of trips and deadheading them back to Atlanta tomorrow to interview you. Rest assured that situation is only temporary and they will come begging your forgiveness for their tardiness in very short order. My guess is they will even offer to start you off on second year pay if you will grace their airline with your presence. In fact, I would call their headquarters tomorrow at 8AM and DEMAND to talk with whoever is in charge over there about the cavalier attitude they have taken towards your application. Tell them that you deserve RESPECT, and that as an esteemed pilot applicant to their airline you have zero tolerance for their insolence.
