This aircraft was designed for short high density segments. Boeing has sold it as something it was never intended to be. We are trading 70's engineering for '50's engineering. The visionaries of yesteryear that built the industry on new capabilities would be appalled.

I'm sure Boeing was more than happy to sell these to DL, and it was probably done with a pie chart.
