Sometimes the 738 can't make it, but that's unusual. Had to land in DEN last year going from BOS-LAX. I highly doubt that the 739 could do it on a regular basis if what I read is correct. That being said, I've flown in the back of CAL's 739s on a few occasions and didn't find it really any different than riding in the back of a 738. They have better IFE however. DIRECTV and like 65 channels. They also had hot cheeseburgers and french fries on a red eye. Not sure how they pulled that off but Michael Chiarello, or whoever is doing our inflight menus, needs to be doing some research. It rocked.
