Also the orders have just begun, time will tell how it plays out. the shrinking likely is coming at the regionals expense just as it is now. The shift looks to be back to mainline planes, we'll see
This is why size-based pay isn't working very well anymore. Sure, back when airlines were advancing from DC-3 to DC-4 to DC-6 etc pay increased rapidly.. but now, airlines are replacing larger with smaller. (B757 -> B737, B747-400 -> B777, etc)
