Your ignorance would be laughable if it weren't for the fact that its what caused this whole mess. Mainline pilots let this happen, regional pilots have zero say in it.

However to the commenter that distinguished "mainline" and "RJ" routes....they are not mutually exclusive because you are comparing apples and oranges. Mainline refers to who is doing the flying. RJ refers to what aircraft is doing the flying. If it weren't for scope relaxation....they would be one in the same.
