In their own words...

Yep, this recall is about lack of leadership, there is no internet board trying to “demean or damage anyone’s credibility”. This is not about recalling volunteers so that the Secret Dealers can take over scheduling oversight to protect their interests. Not at all.

Except... there’s that pesky little business of the Ultra Secret Board:

Priority Left:

What would YOU do?
« on: October 27, 2010, 12:01:51 AM »

The company calls you with a JA assignment. They offer you 200% to fly tomorrow. You accept.
Then later in the day, they call again. This time they offer you an earlier JA trip. A two day event that conflicts with your previous JA assignment. They are desparate and this trip will cancel unless covered. Now they offer you, pay protection and 200% JA for the earlier trip leaving within the next 2 hours. This trip will then effectively pay you quadruple percent.

What would you do?

1. Go tell them to pound sand. You are busy tending *to your *metrosexual duties and busy waxing your man hair off your back and chest and have a pedicure scheduled *later that *you don't want to miss.

2. Tell them, *"this is a contract violation and you will be reportingit *immediately to your idiot union leaders".

3. Call up your wife/girlfreind, or boyfriend/significant other, for their approval for you to miss your dinner date?

4. Take the trip and laugh all the way to the bank.

Or 5th:* *Finish wiping your a$$ with the contract and get changed. There's planes to be flown and money to be made. Thanks for the call scheduling. Another bill off the plate... Whew..

Accept the JA, get a copy of your new schedule with the JA on it, then call and say it would be a 24-in-7 violation...but since it was on your schedule they have to pay you for it!

Or back to Justthe tip:

As we tell the MEC over and over, it will not end. If they just would have kept the 150% in place we would not be making back door deals.

...

But how oh how are they gonna get those Special Deals with the current Union volunteers overseeing scheduling?

Grassy Knoll, want to step up to the plate?

Maybe the whispers are true. Maybe its time for Hann to go and untie Travis's hands a bit.

Noi-togo?

There is no sight lost on GARY HILL.* *He needs to be removed from his "85hr" safety seat for the letter he wrote.

Be nice Andy, we are trying to get Chris Rusing to replace Gary Hill.

,,,

Maybe we’ll just let the Everyman, the Hero and Champion of Integrity sum it all up for us:

Trust me, I have volunteered as well as others, but with our political differences the MEC passes on any of us non-conformists.* One of our 26%ers volunteered to be on the scheduling committee, remember? Instead they put the Captain "DownSyndrome" Scott26, who is really an FO, in there to try and undermine anyone who wanted to work extra. Don't forget that those same people caused a great scheduling supervisor a demotion. I am happy to volunteer my time to be active in this union, however until there is change they will not invite us to participate. Travis PM me if there is any way you can get me involved, let me sit next to CaptainScott26 in scheduling and approve those 200% trips.

So much for this being about Flight Loss Pay.
