Commuting out of Mco is tough during summer travel. But there are plenty of flights. Not to mention Tpa, gnv, dab, Jax if you really had to. Our commuter policy will protect you from getting in trouble.

First year pay I think was around 30k for me. Pay during training isn't bad. I picked up maybe 4-5 days of overtime. And I think two times I was stuck on my last day so they gave me 6 hrs of credit and a extra day off which is sweet. Don't plan on flying on your off days because 10 days is low enough. Only way it's worth it is if scheduling calls you to work, then you get a day off back and overtime pay.
