I think TAFB is how they measure things. Not flight hours. You're cheapest when you look at flight time divide it out.
Not in a "post 69 aircraft removal-economic recession-cost neutral CPA-UAX aircraft on rolling short term contracts that only have one crew base but transit three hubs-UAL crappy scheduling world".
TAFB easily tops 300 hrs on a lot of lines with duty ratios hovering around .55.
Lots of things have changed.
