Obviously if you can put it in the hangar that would be great, but what about the aircraft that won't be protected? And I want to hear your suggestions from small single engine piston aircraft to the large business jets. Also what are owners/pilots doing versus what is the TEB doing?
No hangar? what would you think an airplane would do??.....fly away?
:-)
We have an Emergency Evac plan in our SMS that has a Continuity plan. We also own another hangar in another state that we can relocate to if needed. Everything is accounted for there including lodging, fuel, trans etc.
In reality, one hour away puts you out of the storm path.
Small planes? our airport has sent out a few storm updates and has offered whatever hangar space is left and offered extra tie-downs for those who have to be outside....that and keep your insurance broker on call, LOL.
