I'm a tool/technology guy. I like the idea. Some people don't. That's OK. Some people don't like anything unless ALPA blesses it. That's OK too. Some people don't like anythng that's Smisek's idea. Whatever. So be it. It's a big, multi-cultural world out there.

That's just my personal opinion.

I'm old...eyes are bad. I like bold. I also like technology and the IPad. But not without a contract and not without certain protections for the pilot group. Just like Phase 1 training the IPad issue is being forced upon us with no input from the pilot group. That may be ok with you but it sure doesn't sit well with many of us. And BTW....ALPA isn't some foreign entity. ALPA reps are people just like you...fellow pilots. You might not like everything that our reps do (I sure don't) but if you aren't involved then *****ing is just that....*****ing. Maybe if we quit bending over for everything that management throws at us (like we have pretty much done for the past year) perhaps we would be in a different place with a new contract today.

If everyone was dissatisfied with the initial training by bulletin and video wait until you see what is coming next.
