Well recently I thought about getting back into flying proffesionally again. This guy offered me a full time job as a CFI, and he really was interested in all that I have to offer (1000+ hrs. dual given, 15 years management experience, sales experience, etc.) but seems that he was not as interested in paying me for what all that stuff would be worth to him and his business. Wanted me to be there for free between lessons to promote the school, and wanted me to give my time away to students. Sorry pal, at some point in your carreer you want to get piad for those decades of sweat and toil ( I am 42 and quite tired of hearing why I should give things away to everyone ). CFI's are very important to aviation because they are foundational to all types of flying. They are worth millions, but they get paid peanuts. Well, I'll get back in when it is good for them AND me, that is all I ever asked!
