Sounds like UPT classes went from year and letter to year and class number sometime in the 60's. Also seems that being a FAIP at Williams was one of the best jobs a 24 year old could ever ask for.
I agree. My antenna would raie to full mast if a guy told me he couldn't remember where he went to training unless that guy was REALLY old and was having trouble remembering his own name , otherwise - you just don't forget something like that!

My old college roommate spent 5 years as a T-38 FAIP at Williams. Ended up in C-141s in Charelston, but I was unable to meet him again, but I have no doubt that he would have enjoyed his time there from the reactions of most that I tell that story too.
