This question has weeded out the posers for me several times. I ask mainly because I love hearing stories from UPT/Primary. The USAF types almost always smile and spout off their class number when I ask. Not a guarantee that the ones who reply, "I don't know....that was a long time ago" are phonies but it does raise the antennas a bit.
Sounds like UPT classes went from year and letter to year and class number sometime in the 60's. Also seems that being a FAIP at Williams was one of the best jobs a 24 year old could ever ask for.
I agree. My antenna would raie to full mast if a guy told me he couldn't remember where he went to training unless that guy was REALLY old and was having trouble remembering his own name

My old college roommate spent
5 years as a T-38 FAIP at Williams. Ended up in C-141s in Charelston, but I was unable to meet him again, but I have no doubt that he would have enjoyed his time there from the reactions of most that I tell that story too.
