I think a lot of people are overlooking one big problem with this gojet flying.
Delta owns the airplanes.
Delta will most definitely have the right to pull those airplanes and give them to someone else if Gojet cant meet its performance metrics.
Gojet does not have the staffing and will still be incredibly understaffed when they start receiving these things next year.
Go-jet only has 30 airplanes (+/-)
They UNDER-bid Skywest/ASA/XJT which means that this flying is at a loss or the margins are incredibly thin.
Will Gojet be able to meet the performance requirements in their contract? To be quite honest I think this is a deal that was too good to pass up for Delta. The price was to good and is worth a shot (for delta) to see if it works out. I have seen the hardship caused by creating a new operation and the turmoil it creates within a company. I dont think Gojets will be flying these aircraft for the long term.
