I am one of those guys. I will not go back to first year pay and bottom of the list at a regional. I am already considering other employment. There is no longer a career progression at ASA. My career has reached a stagnation point. I see no future for me here at ASA. I have about 150-180 people below me after 3.5 years. If (probably will) downgrade and furlough, I will either be furloughed for the second time in 4 years, or kicked down to reserve for infinity. No thank you. Either look for a different kind of flying, non flying related aviation work, or another career. I, as most everyone else, need that PIC time. Not going to get it here, so what's the point of staying?
