Seven or eight years ago, when I was a new 757 Capt., I kept a car in DTW. I spent some time as a reserve and went out to Roush Industries in Lavonia one afternoon to get some stickers for one of my vintage race cars that has a Roush Racing engine in it. Jack found out that I was coming and wanted to meet the owner of the old Trans-Am Series Mustang race car that had raced with parts of his rental car on it. Needless to say, when he found out that I was a pilot, he wanted to talk airplanes, and, of course I wanted to talk cars.
