It's not really what I would call a true "welcome aboard."
Whatever you want to say about Delta's management, they seemed to stay out of the NWA/DAL negotiations and 6-8 months we had a seniority list. A little more than a year later, we were flying in the same cockpits.
We'll see how long it takes SWA to combine operations, but I doubt if it's that fast. But, it seems as though there will definitely be some therapy needed.
I think SWA has a chance of beating that timeline. SWA only closed on the deal four months ago. Things are moving along very fast now.
During your merger I talked to more than one NWA pilot who was going to need therapy after the merger.
