My bud was just giving a warning, becuase I was looking at it as an option to FedEx. The scenario: You get hired as a sim instructor (kind of like being FAIP’d in the military), you go to class with 10 FO (with the line experience and seniority) upgrading to Captains. So with none of the experience you make it through the class but don’t do so well and your record gets some extra documentation to say that. Now, 3 years later, you are ready to go to the line and you get the big red X instead because you had a difficult time with the class you went through three years ago. It’s just food for thought and was just a warning from him. He told me that it didn’t have anything to do with ability or otherwise.
