How is a 13hr duty day worse than a 16hr duty day as far as time form home? i don't think these rules are for those airlines that have a decent contract, rather for those who have no contracts and are force up to legal duty days and min rest daily. If we as an industry are for safer operations then we should support these new rules and stop thinking of just ourselves.
I'd rather see 8 hours in 13... But I agree with you, that this is for the carriers that are abused, and I am all for that.. I personally don't like the concessionary part.. I didn't mean for it to come off any other way, and if it did, I apologize.
