I would think you'd be in a far better situation in that case, especially with a company like Lakes with 1900s, I'm sure they can ask a fair bit about the King Air knowing it has similarities with the 1900.

And again, I'm not saying every company minds, or telling you not to do it, just telling you what my experience was.
