I disagree with you. LGB pay would hurt you. A lot of guys who commute to get the extra 20$ and hour would not have to commute anymore. They would come back to ATL. With LGB you may not be able to hold ATL at all. Why would anybody commute to NYC or DTW if the pay was the same? If you are a relatively junior pilot at this airline you could be forced into commuting as the senior guys move to the good bases.
