Would appreciate feedback/gouge on the recovery from one of these bad boys. Did the 727 2 week trips out of FRA when I was 37-39...thinking the recovery from a 2 week trip at 54 is going to be a bit tougher!

Come on down!! You'll like the trips a lot, much more laid back than flying the Atlantic.
The nice thing about the LAX trips is a lot of the trips pass one or both directions through HNL which does a great job of taking the edge off. I'm generally good after about 24 hours.
The Japanese run a great airline out there.......whole different animal. You'll like it a lot!!
