FTB and ACL,

One can't just go to the airplane store and come home with a truck load of jets. Nothing happens quicker than 18 to 24 months (hence why they placed the orders a month ago for 2013 deliveries). Engines, avionics, landing gear, etc ... have to be ordered and paid for (by somebody) before they get put on an airframe.

Now the one thing that might change the situation is Republic. Things are looking increasingly ugly over there. We need to watch the next several quarters, especially if a downturn tanks what is left of their Frontier and MidWest experiments.

Might be that Republic's airplanes get dropped and if so, I really question as to whether this French Canadian Concorde is really going to happen.
