In conclusion, it would probably suite you better to go to the job fair, keep building time and wait for the better offer to come. I would avoid Eagle since American is trying to spin them off and the flow through will probably disappear. However, if you live in a city where Eagle has a domicile, it might be the best choice for you. There is a lot to consider.
The new flow through might disappear, this is the one for new hires. Understand that around 1000 Captains from American Eagle will be at AA in the first 1700 pilots that AA hires. Now this can disappear but since it is a ruling won from an arbitrator and it doesn't cost the company any money (hard to lose if AA goes Bankrupt) it will take something drastic for this to happen. It is in the best interest for AA and AE (company) to move this guys as fast as possible to lower the pay at AE. On most bases on the AE system a 12 year Captain is junior and on the cusp of not holding a line.
