Poor choice of words on my part. I'd be looking for CFI's with a little part 91 turbine or 135 experience, or maybe higher-time MEI's. Guys who do not qualify for major airline jobs or good corporate jobs yet. Maybe even just a CFI with an ATP. But the idea is I get to be picky.

Like someone side, I would eat a lot of turnover when the majors are hiring and I might even have to adjust to get the right balance between turnover costs and longevity costs. But my premise is that there is a balance point that makes more sense (to a manager) than the current scheme.
