Pairings and the "solution" change every month, you have to analyze your bid groups and trip pools in detail every month taking hours out of your personal time every month. There is no catch all bid group that will work every month. You have to re create the wheel every month. 80% of the pairings built for october credited 5 hours a day or less, garbage into a garbage system and you get garbage lines out. PBS does not honor seniority it honors the "solution".

PBS sucks even if you are number 1 because of the user interface. Vote no on any contract that has Carmen PBS as our bidding software.

I have heard a rumor that the UAL system honors seniority. UAL Pilots I hope you are listening, ask your reps about what system they are negotiating for. CAL pilots need your help to ensure we have a bidding system that honors seniority at the combined company, once again the CAL bidding system does not honor seniority, look at our contract section 25.PBS.
