The sad truth is that most DAL pilots won't ever get to the top wrung of the ladder, and as such, will make less money than a stagnating Southwest FO.

You are assuming no contract gains over years of service for the junior pilots, and forgetting the large amount of scheduled retirements due to age 65. The DPA may actually come to fruition and actully fight for us, giving us the pay we all actually deserve, instead of what certain people think we might only be able to gain without ruffling too many feathers.
